Ok, I think we found the ONE!

Posido and I were almost ready to settle on a venue.... but, I was having some anxiety thinking about the chances of inclement weather on our wedding day. The venue we ALMOST decided on was a dream setting! It is gorgeous..... but it really defeats the purpose of having a wedding there if you don't have it outdoors. The largest room indoors could only hold up to 70 people, and we really do not have it in our budget to rent a tent (they can be very pricey). And I don't remember the inside of the mansion really leaving much of an impression on Posido and I. It was really the outdoor setting that captured us. It was a hard decision, but we decided to look for another option.

During the whole research process of looking for a venue, I remembered running across a little white chapel that I thought was adorable online! I re-tracked my steps and found it again. The name of the place is called, Milton Ridge. :-) Today, Posido and I went to go visit the venue. At first, when we drove up to the venue, we were a bit skeptical. It's not located in a scenic area like the first venue was.... but as we walked around and soaked in it's ambiance, we absolutely fell in love with it! The chapel is adorable, the staff is super friendly (and we got a great vibe), the price is competitive, and it's simple & stress free! Everything like the chairs and tables, etc. are provided for. I love that it's intimate, yet can accomodate the number of guests we are expecting to have (which is 100).

We are already working on getting a date booked! *cross our fingers*

Here are some pictures & videos from our visit:
The Chapel. (so cute!)

Front entrance of chapel.

View when you walk in.
(It almost made me cry when I imaged myself walking in as a bride toward Posido.)

High arched ceilings.
(Makes for good acoustics and a grand feel in a small, intimate space.)

The altar. (Simple and focal.)

Clean white chairs.
(The room holds up to 120 people!)

Stairs leading up to Milton Ridge.

Cute little bench.
(Good for taking pictures.)

VIDEOS:

The chapel walk thru.
(All the noise was from the gardening staff mowing the lawn and spiffing up the gardens for a wedding the next day.)

The groom's quarters.

The bridal cottage.

Potential cocktail hour area.

We will keep you all updated on any further progress! :-)
